What stopped working?
Open the situation that matches yours. A reply to one command does not prove every feature is working, but it helps narrow the problem.
No reply after Start
- Check whether your ordinary Telegram chats send messages. If they also fail, check your connection and reopen the app after saving any draft.
- Confirm the exact bot handle using the operator’s website. If Telegram shows an unblock control, use it only if you want to resume that bot.
- Open the bot’s private chat and tap Start if offered. Follow its welcome message or displayed command menu.
- If only this bot stays silent, check the operator’s linked announcements or support route.
Telegram explains that a bot’s owner runs the service that handles requests. Restarting your phone cannot repair that server. A bot label also does not indicate that the service is online. How Telegram bots work.
The menu works, but my request does nothing
First check whether the bot offers the task. Our @Free_AI_Tool_Bot recommends tools; it does not edit your photo. Open the recommended tool to do the work. See the recommendation workflow.
For a bot that does perform the task, select the documented mode and try one small supported input. Read any credit, subscription or queue message. A working menu alone does not establish that generation is available. Do not pay again just because a request is slow.
Text works, but my photo, PDF or audio fails
Compare the accepted file type, size and input instructions with what you sent. Try a small, non-sensitive example in the supported format. Do not guess a universal reset command.
- Photo editing: check whether the instruction belongs in the photo caption.
- PDFs: distinguish a text document from scanned pictures of pages.
- Audio: check whether the service accepts a voice message, an attached recording, or both.
Record whether the upload fails, the bot rejects the file, or processing starts without a result. Those are different failures.
It replies privately, but not in my group
Check that the bot supports groups and is a member. Try a supported command addressed to its exact username, in the form /command@bot_username; replace both placeholders with the bot’s documented command and handle.
Telegram’s message rules explain why a bot with group privacy enabled can receive an addressed command while missing ordinary conversation. This is one possible cause, not a diagnosis from silence alone.
Ask the group administrator to check the documented setup. Review what group access means before changing permissions. Administrator access is not a general fix for an unresponsive bot.
The chat works, but the Mini App stays blank
Save any unsent work, close the Mini App and reopen it from the bot’s current menu. Check the operator’s notices. If it offers an official website alternative, use that route rather than an unfamiliar replacement link.
A Mini App has a web interface, so its loading failure is a separate clue from a silent chat. Telegram’s Mini App documentation. Our bot and Mini App example shows the two entry points.
Still stuck? Send a useful support report
Copy this outline, fill in the facts and send it through the operator’s published support route. Remove private message contents, login codes and unrelated personal details from any screenshot.
Bot: @username Time and time zone: Telegram app and device: Where: private chat / group / Mini App Action I tried: What still works: Exact error or visible result:
You do not need the bot’s secret token to report a problem. If you run the bot yourself, use Telegram’s developer troubleshooting to inspect how it receives requests.
If the service remains unavailable, return to the task-based bot guide. Choose an alternative that performs your original task.
